Long Description:
We have been engaged by one of the nation’s leading health care systems that serves patients at more than 150 locations throughout the Midwest to find a Director of Interactive Marketing. Our client is committed to advanced care and encompasses one of the region's largest networks of primary care physicians, outpatient centers, hospitals, and includes a major academic medical center. They are among the top 40 most integrated health systems in the country and have also been named one of America’s best hospitals.

The Director of Interactive Marketing will develop, implement, and support the organization’s electronic marketing platform that drives revenue generation and organizational reputation. He/she will lead a cross-functional team responsible for the development and management of e-commerce and e-marketing strategies. The successful candidate will also lead the intranet development and ongoing development strategy in collaboration with internal communications and information technology. The Director of Interactive Marketing will serve as the organization’s strategist and futurist in Internet and intranet development.

The successful candidate will lead all efforts of the Interactive Marketing Group, which has been identified by the executive leadership as a critical component to the growth and future of the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of increasingly responsible marketing experience in web technologies. Health care marketing experience is required. Marketing experience with health care systems, academic, and research facilities is required. In-depth knowledge of marketing practices involving Internet and intranet, social media, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, online advertising, e-marketing, e-mail marketing, banner advertising, online affiliate marketing, and web measurement analytics is also required. He/she will have a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field. An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred.
