Long Description:
Carondelet Health Network is seeking a high-energy, articulate, team-oriented Network Web Content Specialist to manage and produce web content for the CHN internet and intranet. Position will work closely with Manager, IS Communications/Web Strategy and Web masters, marketing and technology staff, and various clients throughout the Carondelet Health Network to create, standardize, maintain and analyze Web content. Primary responsibilities will include: coordination of web content; copy writing and editing of various communications including news releases, associate and medical staff communications, special communications for the web; facilitating the editorial, layout, and technical objectives for assigned projects; and reworking offline content for online use. Internal customers include managers, senior leadership, associates, physicians, auxillary and stakeholders. External customers include consumers, physicians, area businesses, employers, and community organizatons.
The qualified candidate will assist in maintaining content management systems and translating approved content into Web pages; collaborate with CHN service line leaders to ensure that all web content regarding the hospital programs and services are up-to-date and timely; perform a key role in the Website content strategy including writing, editing, updating and maintaining content; coordinate the internal network publications for inclusion on web; and work closely with Intranet webmasters to maximize network communication exposure.
Position requires a Bachelors degree in communications, public relations, journalism or a related field, and a portfolio including a minimum of 2-3 years experience developing web content. Healthcare knowledge, media relations experience and demonstrated leadership abilities preferred. Proven project management experience from start to completion is required. Candidate must possess the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a challenging, fast-paced work environment. Must have demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and knowledge of desktop publishing and other graphic support software. Ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, high growth work environment. Candidate must be highly organized and detail oriented; possess excellent verbal and written communications skills; must possess the ability to make decisions, plan, prioritize, schedule and organize work projects effectively.
